Took this at the harbor this morning on the photo walkabout. I had to crop it a lot for it to be so close-up, but I was taking it with my new 50mm lens so there was no option of zooming in at the time. Seagulls are such fascinating birds. Watching them this morning I was struck by how they seem to be confident that they own the pier and not the humans they look down upon.
